Title hopefully means 'cat reclining', I used google for the translation because I don't do french :-)

More Frost...I used a horrendously bad image for this one -- out of focus, blown out, cluttered -- but I love the challenge of turning a crappy image into something interesting. Hopefully I did so here, I was going for the antique look.
Processing:
Paint over the cluttered background (pretty sloppily since I'd be adding an overlay)
Paint in eyes to make them brighter, more colored and more even
Add overlay below, first in hard light mode, then the frame only part in normal mode
Create new layer out of everything and use Nik Color Efex Pro tonal contrast

I used this new overlay I just posted

Amazing transformation! The cat was perfect for this, very Victorian.

I love this so much. Anything with kitties and an overlay can't be half bad.

Yet again I'm totally impressed by how you've turned a throwaway snapshot into a really interesting art piece. I bow to your postprocessing prowess ;)

Great to see the original, you would never guess what it started as from the final version. Well done.

This has a really authentic feel to it. I think the affect the healing brush gave adds to the overall result
