Photo of a red/yellow zoa surrounded by larger zoa's from my reef aquarium.

Playing around with a rental 100mm macro. I was trying to get a larger DOF, but in doing so I ended up sacrificing some sharpness due to the long exposure of an aquatic organism. In retrospect I should have used a higher ISO, but corals for some reason always look noisy (they just have that natural ability). But I still struggled at the end if the larger DOF was worth the loss in sharpness.

I hope most realize this is an animal and not a flower. Wonderful color and selective focus on your main subject.

The co-mingling colours in this are very beautiful, almost iridescent. I have often thought that these anemones open up like living flowers but you have captured this concept perfectly and it also illustrates their cohesiveness and cooperation. The water magnification makes them resemble a delicate sea bouquet. Excellent photograph.

Looks to be shot through glass. Any time I shoot through glass I try to use a cup between the lens and the glass to prevent any glare. Anyway, good subject but the colors are very faded looking.

I think color correcting this would have helped a lot.

I can't help but feel that the color should be more vibrant. They seem to be dull and washed out.
