I'm jealous. I was there last month and the skies were gloomy. I didn't get to see the gorgeous colors lit up. Beautiful capture of the light.

I'm assuming the bright line is the river?? Tough to shoot this subject at the end of the day(or beginning) but you did a nice job of retaining detail in the shadows.

I am trying to decide if the lighting in the foreground is from the sun or your flash...IMO this is a superb picture...BUT I could have used just a little less foreground and gotten a bit more of the canyon...mind you I'm not saying this is not good...it is beautiful...just the foreground on the left side distracts me...I want to see more of the canyon and that rock to the right...
