This is so 50's looking. Great job.

Thanks for the feedback, this was an assignment for a photo class and we had a lot of fun shooting it. This was my teachers pic, personally I like the black & white. Next time I'll follow my instincts!

By the majority of the comments, YOU NAILED IT. Should have placed much higher.

for my eye, it needs more contrast and perhaps a bit of saturation.

Excellent photo but to my eye it either needed to be straightened up or your model needed to be leaning the other direction.

Now this is very creative, I love the 50s advertising feel. Great model, pose expression and prop. My thoughts on improving this would be a) be more selective with your background features, in this case I think if you just had the cupboards and to the right and less of the window/ sink it'd be a bit tidier. b) Slightly sharper focus on the model's face, c) the lighting is not quite there, it seems slightly too harsh and the colour balance is a bit cold.

I think my wife would actually be happy if I gave her one of these. She's hinted at it told me clearly multiple times. I must however, be the only man in existence who gave his wife a hard disk drive for Christmas and she actually liked it.

Looks like a shot from the late forties or fifties.....if b/w.
Good one.

I find this EXTREMELY offensive!

All she needs is some fishnets and high heels and youve done a great job of sitting the whole woman's movement back 30 yrs. You pulled it off with the hairdo and pearls though. Unfortunately.

first off I love this shot...and to make it even better...(IMO) don't have the model leaning away from the mixer...she should be in love with that mixer - lean towards it. superb job

Very 70's appliance and model but the tops and cupboards are 90's!

I am not sure the bow adds any to this otherwise good image.

I scored for the models eyes. Every bit of life in the photo is in her eyes.
