Nice still image, fitting for the challenge. I love that added the flower for color. I wish that DOF would have been a little more to keep the heals sharp as well. Other wise well done.
Some high class 'Dots' and the flower is a nice touch to add some contrast. I'm not sure if the focus is best as you've chosen to present but it's certainly a well accepted photographic style. I think your photo will do very well in the challenge.
