At first glance this looks like just a snapshot, but of course it's so much more. If feels real, and that's what makes the photo for me. One of my favorites of the challenge.

This good, DOF is great and the (slightly desaturated look) colours and texture of the wood add something - 7 from me

Selective desat and limited palette does wonders for focussing in on the moment. Excellent processing choices; nice DOF, too, and sweet moment to capture.
