Interesting effect. Is this a crop?

Shot w/ D40, just minimal crop to adjust it to 4x6. I was on a trail that put me maybe a hundred meters away from the falls. With the LB being equal to a 50mm lens, this is pretty much what I got through the trees.

Wonderful framing and composition here! Perfect placement of the sweet spot. Very, very, nice photo you've captured.

Edit - I have to add that I got this strong sense of movement, like vertigo or something, when this photo came up again after commenting. The LB blur coincides perfectly with the falling of the water!

Nice juxtaposition of those falls with the foreground trees - this shot is all about verticals.
