| Flash directly hitting the subject creats dark shadows, making this as ususal snapshot. |

Very creepy. The harshness of the flash actually adds to that atmosphere by projecting the shadows.
The figures are a bit naff. But i like the tools hanging on the left - perhaps a photo of those would be better. |

| Normally flash-lit photos like this look really bad, but you have processed this in a way that has minimised the flat look and made something much better. |
