Sunflowers in November!
That Sunday morning, it was such nice weather, so I went for a bike ride to downtown. I had a walk around, and when I got back to the bike, the front tyre was flat - I had only pumped the tyres up before the ride (seeing it had been such a long time since I'd been on the bike).
There was no other choice than to walk the bike home, going via the bike shop in case it was open. Of course, it wasn't. About a third of the way home, there was a group of retirees who had been cleaning out the river (read: stream) and had finished and were taking a group photo. I stopped and offered to take the photo for them so that they'd all be in it.
I started off again, saying my front tyre was flat. They said, wait, we'll fix it for you. So one of the men went home and came back a few minutes later with his bike and a pump. It was just a matter of replacing the valve - the rubber had perished somewhat on my bike. (The valves are separate from the tubes in Japanese bikes - I hadn't seen the like in Australia.)
Anyway, off I went a few hundred metres and stopped to take some photos of these sunflowers I had seen before. One of the retirees came along and said that these sunflowers had been planted late in the summer season, then he went into his house, which was nearby.

| You realize you could probably make a tidy profit buying up more TLR kits and selling it to the members of this side challenge? ;) Intriguing results from this camera, nice story. |

| That darn puggoflex is a wicked camera! Great shot. Found the camera kit in Japan. I 'heard' the puggoflex may be coming to the states! |
