No, it does not need more sharpening. It is a shallow DOF image, 50mm @1.8, so not everything will be tack sharp. Perhaps this is what the "suffering" guy above was thinking? No understanding a narrow depth of field/focus?

Maybe, but here's another theory; some people, using LCD monitors, have set them to other-than-designed resolutions, and they cannot handle that. The result is messy artifacting, and it can REALLY mess up when you have a fine grid like that window screen.
Nice tones and textures - Sophia's fur patterns stand out nicely against the square patterned background and the bokeh echoes the light and shadow interplay on her face.
