This is the Cumbres Toltec Narrow Gauge Railway Train which runs between Antonito, Colorado and Chama, New Mexico in the summer and early fall. We've been on the ride twice and there is some beautiful scenery along the way along with the fun of riding on a steam train this old.

My Mom and Dad are visiting from Montana for two weeks and my Mom took some pics of the same train for her entry several days ago.

Very nice job framing and getting a great capture! I'd like to see the crop a slight bit in from the left so the train is cut into two pieces and I'd like to see the color saturation tweaked so as to be more vivid though. Great, great job!

I love steam engine pics = ) I'd prefer to see the full train (cropped less tightly on the left), but the detail is very sharp and the composition is nice (looks as though the train has been travelling from one corner of the frame to the next). Very nice

I wonder how long you stood here to get this. Great shot. The only thing that bugs me is part of the train is out of the shot.

Great train! Nice composition on the curve - but I'l like to see more of the center of the train. Colors a bit washed out, could be an exposure problem.

Very nice shot, but I's prefer it a tad darker, looks a bit overexposed. Shows that you metered on the black train, so the camera overexposed the shot to make the train look grey.

Great use of space. I think the sun might have beena bit too high when you took this as I don't see any shadows and the colors feel very washed out.

I think this would work better if the whole train showed. (on the left). It's a very nice crisp image though.
