 Prior to my last visit of Daet last January, I have to go back to as far as year 2000 for my recent visit. It's really been while...

It's unfortunate that for my latest visit of Daet was to attend my grandmother's wake. The funeral home was along Bagasbas Road, and quite near Bagasbas Beach.

So one afternoon, along with my cousin Nonong and Angelo, we stroll along the beach of Bagasbas, and I was able to capture a few photos.

You found this during at an unhappy time. It's a beautiful shot, and the dark stormy sky reflects the emotions that you must have been feeling.
This is a very good shot of the traditional outrigger canoe, and of the simplicity of the lives of the people who built and use it.
