What can I say? I like lines and geometry and the color blue. Seen on Pittsburgh's South Side, about a block away from the thrift shop that sold me the camera.

Kodak Ultra Max 400 film in the Photoflex MX-35 (more about the camera here).

All those wires lend a lot of movement and interest. Remarkably flat - you don't get a sense of depth from those chimneys - I don't know if that's just the film, the lens, the lighting, or some combination thereof, but the effect, for me, is to trick me into thinking I'm looking at a colored pencil drawing.

I'd say keep the bottom as it shows the curves created by lens-distortion

Really neat geometry here -- I love all those squiggly wires. I guess I'd have two versions of this shot -- this one for the toy camera folks which keeps the rail at the bottom, and one for the photo purists that crops it out. IMNSHO, I think I'd like it better w/o the bottom. It's a pretty powerful shot.

Yes, a very nice image! More appealing the longer I look at it. I am torn on the 'heavy bottom'... I think I like it the way it is.

I think maybe a bit bottom heavy like delin says...at least to me. But I really really like it from the pole up!!!! The wriggley skimpy lines of communication against the bland backside of the house are great! Also, the teeny window is something.

I really like this, only thing I can say is the heavy line on the bottom draws my eye from the rest of the composition. Personally, I'd like a tighter crop for balance. Still love it though.
