 Clarence Docks in Leeds have been completely redeveloped in the last year or two. I was drawn by the idea of contrast, between the light on the buildings and the heavy storm clouds, and between the modernist buildings and the traditional barges and canal boats.

HDR from three photos each 1 and a third stops apart - handheld!

The contrasts you noted work really well here. Love the way the light really brings out the colors of the buildings against the dark sky. And nice use of the dock as a foreground element.
