 Have you ever tried taking a photo, while driving, with a Lensbaby mounted? Let me tell you, it's not easy. :-)

The sunset on the way home from work was enticing me. I tried a few handheld shots going down the interstate, but gave up after deciding driving with your knees at 70mph probably wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done. :-P

So, I hurried to an exit, went down a side road, and grabbed this shot out the side window. Metering was tricky as the sun (what little was left of it) was forcing the sky and foreground to go dark. Spot metered on the grass using AEL and bumped the ev back up one notch.

It's funny, but this LB-while-driving thing is strangely infectious - I haven't had the time before now to really look at recent submissions for this side challenge, and now you're the second LB-while-driving photog I've come across. Two days after you took this, I found myself on a 6 hour trip to Ohio and attempted the same thing (though as a passenger), no idea this was going on with others in the challenge. I'm thinking of alerting the CDC.

Ha! Lensbaby drivers are spreading! Well worth it though as you got a great shot in the end. I like the simple composition.

Heh! Yeah, I've been shooting the Lensbaby out the window, too. We really do need to pay attention to our driving, though!!

Aaahh, what photographers do for their art.
Like the composition with the fence post on either side. Nice dream feel to the image.

errr...hum! I've already seen this. Where's the new stuff? C'mon, get with the program would ya. :-D

I'll try to get out this weekend [but I make no promises :) ]. Rain and storms in the forecast all week end...
