 Done at home, very simple setup.

Three pencils, coloured background, and then glycerine (it's easier to manage than water).
The purpose is to make the colours inside the drop to be identical to the pencils', by switching the colours on the BG.

This is an excellent shot. It scored very well. You thought about what you where going to do and you succeeded.

I think what may have helped you here would have been to have a wider shot. Your shot is very thin. Other than that your focus is spot on, you are sharp, your colours are excellent.

at first, i was like "huh" ... but then i realized the little drop of water has reflection from the pencils! how cool! i think it it would have been better if this pic was little wider...

Great capture, really delicate, simple and effective. Love the way that the colours of the pencils are duplicated in the falling drop.
