A little overboard on that gaussian blur filter, huh? It's a very good photo, but I might have preferred the original to the fuzzy edges. Try the lens blur instead, and you won't get a glow around your selection. That dark spot to the left of the purple flower is kinda annoying. Excellent focus and light quality on the remainder of your image. 7

You have a nice and pleasing image but I find the halo effect around the leaves a bit bothersome.

Nice composition and wonderful simplicity.
I would imagine you will have had a few comments regarding the oversoftened halo effects. I actually like it in this image but some voters will probably lower your score because of it...hope not.
