1) Take the original image and make a two duplicates of the background.

2) Select the copy layer that site directly above the original background layer and then using Adjustment, Hue&Saturation desaturate completely to B&W.

3) Select the colour layer at the top and then click on the icon to the right of the fx to create and layer mask.
This will appear to the right of the colour layer you already have selevted.

4) select the layer mask you just created.

5) Using Edit, Fill, fill the layer mask with black.

6) Select the paintbrush tool, make white the foreground colour and then simply paint the panther back in.

7) if you make a mistake simply make the foreground colour black and painting over the msitake will put it back to how it was.

Have a go it's actuallu much easier than is sounds lol
