Not sure how this will do in a dpc environment, all I know is that I love the dark eerie feeling I get from this photo. I am guessing mid 5s, obviously hope more though

What a striking photo -- I didn't vote in the challenge, but surely this would have gotten a high score from me. Well done.

Would not have guessed this as being one of yours. I thought this was definitely one of the best in this month's free study. Excellent work.

OK, I'm going through the Free Study submissions, purposefully finding those images I think are shot with a less conventional eye - this is one of those images! Thanks for offering something that isn't just DPC friendly eye-candy (though of course there's nothing wrong with eye-candy). I'll be picking one of these images for my Mu (most underrated) award:

Positives: Wow - what an outstanding image, such clarity, such great use of light, intriguing subjects, full of story, outstanding composition with great use of perspective.

Critical stuff: Nothing at all.

Overall - 10 and a fave, no question - masterful!

Great street shot. Like the stairs, but would crop a bit off the top so they were a little less dominating. 8

Great mood/atmosphere. Bit too much separation between the characters for a conspiracy? 7

I like the very slight blue tone to this. Nice job.
