I hope your title is enough of a clue for most people to "get" this photo.

I like the contrast between dark at the top and light at the bottom. Good BW.

A little more light in the shadows would greatly improve this already lovely image. Good luck in the challenge. Grayce :-)

Good lightning.

Excellent tonal effects!

Light needs to be more evenly dispersed. Like the pistles(?). What is that singular thing on top. Just curoius. Even with the light problem it is a satisfactory 7. PTL

way to go....at last a flower photo I really like...great use of B/W...i wish there was a bit more DOF

Very appealing black and white; DOF works well for me. Love the shot. lhall

I don't know what that little bobble is on top of the flower so I would have liked this much better without it. It's a great shot, without it.

Great photo. I do wonder how it looked in color, but the black and white is certainly a great picture.

overexposed at the bottom, slightly undeexposed at the top, was this intentional??? I'll give benefit of the doubt and go with a 7 here

Good lighting and focus. Black and White works well for this shot.

I don't know what the original colours were for this, but maybe they would have worked better than the grayscale. I like how the lighting make the petals sort of translucent.
