The blur is a very small element (the tail is moving, it was on the down swing). The soft focus is from tree reflections in the glass making the bricks/blocks appear soft (which is also where the funky colors are coming from). Though this isn't scoring very well, I do still like it very much. I love her blue eye. I love the odd colors. There's not much editing to this, cropped, a little saturation added (shot in raw) and a little sharpening.

Sometimes we just get what we get with the camera and it is good. This is one of those times. This is gorgeous!

I'm not going to deduct for it, but I'm not really seeing the blur or soft focus. It's certainly an interesting subject, but what grabs me is the somewhat overexposed fur and greenish cast. Perhaps it was intentional, but it really draws the eye.

The colors in this seem to be way off and there are several areas that are blown-out which are distracting.

You have something funky going on in the bottom right corner of your photo that is very distracting. it's also in at the top in the walls. There is green tint that is over done in the walls as well. I 'm having a hard time finding where your blur is occuring in the photo. The lighting on your subject is great. I actually like the muted tones of hte shot as well.

I like all your elements, I'm just not thrilled with the colors on the wall.

I really don't think that blur fits this. Soft focus definitely, but not blur. However, I think these techniques are definitely open to interpretation, so it's not getting in my way. -8- (but I thought you should know in case you are getting any low votes. beautifully done, btw)

Not fond of the greenish cast to the photo, also don't see any blur or soft focus.
