 CLichè perhaps, I don't know. Threw ol' Max on the windowsill and told him to look at the cars (which he did!). Originally shot for a contest, but it fit right into this challenge as well as he is "always waiting" for me to come home.

Lighted with an sb-800 bounced of the ceiling behind him and a sb-900 shoot throug an umbrella at his right side.

Added contrast and tuned WB in camera-raw. Cropped and scaled in photoshop, unsharp mask. Channel mixer, monochrome. Hope this does well. I would've been nice to get five avg. +6 on my profile, but I don't think that will happen this time...

And one more thing, starting to loooooove my 17-55mm. What a lens... And on a D300! What a camera, what a combination! Let's get the old 70-200mm and counqer the world, eh?
