I really like the idea, but your color seems a little off, the highlight at the top is distracting, and I'd really like a little more depth of field to cover the spot where the pin is.

I do like the angle of the globe, and I like the shadow of the holder, just wish you could have softened the light so it didn't have the blown area.

At least not DNMC. The highlight hurts in this one. To get more even light, try reflecting the light off something, or using diffused light through a window with a thin shade for this sort of subject.

Great title!
The Pin seems a bit too far off to the left of the frame, and the white balance feels a bit too cold.

hmmmm? wheres the corner then? its a sphere ;-) Nice composition but I would suggest the highlighting is a little distractig.
