 This cabin has been on my list to photograph for some time now. There are dominating mountains behind it that were in the clouds on this day and it was raining when I arrived to shoot. I was about to leave when this rainbow came out. One of those scenes you see in life and wish you had your camera gear with you, well this time luckily I did.

Thanks, I raised the vibrance because the photo would not handle much of an increase in saturation. But the rainbow was pretty much all that. I will add some outakes.

This is a great shot so I have to ask; did you pump up the saturation to get the rainbow so strikingly close looking. Had you been aware of the rainbow in the background when shooting? Thanks, mepncal

Beautiful rainbow, like the shot but I think the shack competes too much with the bow, particularly with that nice light on the porch and the way its processed. I think cropping this to a vertical, with the right border just to the left of the stairs would help this. (6 on the first pass)
