Rhymes with She-Ra, Princess of Power, who was a cartoon character my girls used to watch many moons ago. Kira is about 17 and while we have had other cats since she arrived, she outlived them all and seems quite happy to have done so. She's in great shape for her age, still hunting crickets and telling me faithfully twice a day that she hasn't been fed in WEEKS. At least, that's what it sounds like she's saying ;-)
In this shot she's mildly annoyed that I interrupted her nap in a patch of afternoon sunshine. She needs her beauty sleep!
Kira is a beautiful kitty, even if somewhat miffed. She doesn't look like she's elderly at all and I'm glad to hear that she's in good shape. Cats seem to hide their age better than dogs do.
