I had this idea for the window challenge but I'm a little tired of having sub 4 scores cause I don't think or take pictures like a good DPCer so just thought I would put it up so people can look at it. The window is the one we put in when the swamp cooler is in during the summer.

That landscape is lovely and your idea was perfect. I think with a different pp (to bring out more those beautiful colors) this would have got a good score. Nicely done!

Great idea for the challenge and I'm really surprised that no one did this - I'd thought of this, but didn't have a window! I love the quiet, muted colors and the misty morning view. Do me a favor - check your settings - it almost looks as though there's a touch of motion in this, and with the IS lens you shouldn't be seeing that. That's not to say I don't get that too, though!

I absolutely love it! It would have scored high with me! Even if you would have played it safe and zoomed in just to see the outline and the view, it would have scored high, because it's a beautiful landscape shot. Is this actually a window frame or did you just throw it together? (I almost bought an old window frame from an antique store. I was going to just carry it around with me and set it up in front of something interesting! Was too lazy to go back and see if it was still for sale, however. )
