I've taken from this location many times, but this time I used a huge flash light to "paint" the sculpture. It was one of those million candle power portables you can buy at Costco. I had 8 seconds to paint.
Thanks for all the kind comments and nice score. First real shooting I've done since my transplant.

I was fanning through the last artificial lighting to see what kind of images scored at the top. This image really sticks out it's absolutely beautifully done. I definitely would've scored this a 10. Really beautiful work and I must say I'm a bit jealous of your view.

love the shot but the foreground seems a little unsharp...may just be the resize. 5 (The main source of light is the ambient sky. The foreground IS lit, but it clearly is not the subject.)

Love it! A fresh view of the space needle, and you even got Mt. Rainier! My fav or the challenge

Ah, my home town. The way you've lit the sculpture is interesting and shows off its depth. Never realized there was a plaque in the corner. I'll have to look at what it says next time I'm there. Nicely executed. Goes to show there's always new life in an oft photographed subject.

The framing is incredible, the color is stunning, if this doesn't win there is no justice in the world

A very smart compositon, quickly catches the eye. Using lots of natural light too...
