My daughter, Ivy, at Silver Dollar City in Branson Missouri.
I couldn't really get her to pose for me because I had just given her that lollipop. (and she's 2) I took quite a few photos of her and happened to check dpchallenge afterward. I thought this fit with the theme quite well. I'm not looking for a great score on this one, (my last one sure didn't do well) but it scores big with my family.

I experimented with tighter crops on this one (since cropping was the only real criticism I drew other than the title) and almost entered one. For this particular challenge, though, I wanted to make the treasure "hidden" and it was much more obvious with tighter crops. Also, it removed most of the cornucopia which made it lose a little something to me.
This is a really good picture but you would have been a top 3 if you would have zoomed in a bit and removed everything that had nothing to do with the pumpkins.
Congrats on your new Personal Best (PB). Again welcome to DPC
It wouldn't have better if she was posing. This is priceless! (I wonder what those who gave "1"s were thinking...)
Congratulations on a strong finish and top 10!!!
Poor kid... If one of those roll on him erm her, will the photog assist or take an award winning photo instead? I might have cropped a bit tighter to get rid of annoying background right top. Otherwise well spotted, colour co-ordinated kid, and "sit-still" sweet bribery with the little sucker ;)
charming and amusing. I can imagine another shot taken from a lower angle with her peeping over the top of those foreground pumpkins. I know it can be difficult working with kids (but she looks to be taking her role very seriously. LOL )
good luck
