I don't think low key HAS to be dark and scary, but this works well. Nice job.

Meets Challenge: 2 of 3. Wish there was a little less light on the ghoul, so the highlights could take center stage instead of the whole form.
Technical: 2 of 3. I really don't like that wire coming out of his head. Really ruins things for me. Otherwise, it's technically a good shot.
Emotion: 1 of 3. A profile doesn't do this beast justice. I want him to scare me, not stand at a distance and seem indifferent.
Awe: 0 of 1.

This is a great choice in subject for the challenge. I think a different choice in angle would help to capture this escaped soul.

would be so much better without the string (or whatever it is) at the top. But people have probably already pointed that out...? Otherwise, pretty interesting idea.
