maybe adjust the curves a little bit to help bring a little more contrast to the shot, other than that I like it

perhaps a 16:10 landscape crop would have been better? Cropping the top down to where the top of his ear meets his head. Crop the bottom up to halfway between where it is and his chin.
His face is very long, creating a long vertical feeling line in the photo. To balance this out the photo itself should be long horizontaly.
