Good shot at the brown with this one. I stuck the camera on the window sill. It was night, only a couple of lights on, a real long exposure, during which I walked into the kitchen doorway and stared at the camera, creepily.

Robert Burns: "O wad some Power the giftie gie us. To see oursels as ithers see us!"

Dude.....I'm not sure how much of a treasure you are, or hidden in this case, but the title does tie it together....8>) I like the way the tilt leads me to you.

Hah, this HAD to be yours! I wondered how many would "get" the Burns, and I see at least one other did. Kudos on another enigmatic tour-de-force.

A bit too much forethought and effort for the brown, but the spelling might have put you a bit closer! (I'd not have recognized the quote, but would have figured the title to be intentional.) And do you really think people see you as a knife-wielding lizard standing on its hind legs?

Interesting and spooky. I like how you are tying the two characters together. Too bad you can't edit the title lol

I love black and white especially raw grungy stuff with grain and motion blur and DOF blur, not to mention the narrative behind the picture. Grand.

not sure if the title is full of typoes or if it's something else i don't understand, but i don't get how it meets the challenge. 4.

I haven't used the word "shoehorn" at all in my commenting, but I HAVE to throw it in here. :-) I think including this in the challenge is a stretch (at best). In addition, I don't really know what you were going for in this shot. The reflections seem a bit blurry and the noise level is pretty high. Perhaps I'm just too ignorant to understand. (a distinct possibility) 3

I wud the gifties gie us....
Enigmatic photo and appropo title. A closer crop of the image to exclude the upper right might be an improvement.

Last second entry, rushed spelling? The converging frame of the window draws me to your subject, but the light fitting and door handle top right draws me away, i'm not sure what the treasure is?

Edgy subject, a bit of a stretch to the challenge for me, but interesting photo nonetheless. 6
