I have never been a big fan of those pinch collars ,but they do work

Yay; an adventure! She looks quite nice with that beautiful scenery in the background.
I know pinch collars are controversial but if used correctly they are much less likely to cause permanent damage than a regular choke collar. My new favorite for when a dog has become overly excited is the Halti; the dogs aren't too fond of it but it gives me great control and doesn't look like a medieval torture device ;-) It does look a bit like a muzzle, which causes some people to think I must have a vicious dog, but that's a different story. |

Ruby has a pinch collar too and i like your description "thinking collar"..
Perfect time of yr for hiking.. She looks happy as can be on an adventure.. |
