 She sometimes gathers a bunch of her toys in a pile and then sits on them. I think it's in the hope that some will try to escape so she can really go and hunt them again (hey it works when she does it with actual mice!)

Cats are so mysterious... they behave strangely sometimes and we try to make sense of it with our human minds... My female Aby is the only one "nesting" on her toys like this. Maybe it's a girl thing :)

Haha! My cat does that too, except she gathers all the dog's toys and makes a weird guttural sound while she's carrying them around.
