 This was taken near a water fall in late evening. No additional light setup.

The aim was to capture the web profoundly.

For editing I increased the shadow a bit and made the surrounding black and white.

That's one long-legged skinny spider! :-) As for the image, it's fine overall. It seems a tad oversharpened and I'd like to see less web to see more detail in the web strands. All JMO of course. Good luck!

*not voting as I'm in this challenge-just commenting since I've seen requests for comments in the challenge thread*

Cool spider. very freaky. This would be better if the spider were in focus rather than the left side of the web. But otherwise, nice colors and cool subject.
