 Way above the Homer Spit on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. The Homer Spit is a 5-mile gravel strip with one road down it. We stayed about 2/3rds of the way down the spit in a room above an art gallery. The most amazing views were right from our deck.

An amazing location - this view really shows how far out there the spit goes. However did you find that place? Looks like a wonderful place to stay!
