I was not able to get to my model. So when in doubt, shoot your self! lol
Camera was tripoded and interval timer used. One 1000 watt light bounced off wall for light. I stood with hands in air, holding sheer cloth between camera and myself. I was lucky to get a strange effect from the sheer cloth. Really making this image. Yes, luck can be a great thing! Reduced noise, lowered expose, adjusted curves, cropped, rotated and resize for web in iphoto.

It's a bummer you got so hosed on the voting for this one. Very interesting visually, and does an amazing job of approximating the appearance of ridgelines repeating into the distance.

Hey there from the Critique Club

My thoughts on the image: Without reading the description, there would be no way to know that there was nudity even implied here.

My ideas for improvement: This one just needs to fit into the challenge. There is nothing that I could constructively suggest to make this one a better abstract.

Where I would have/did score this entry: Unfortunately, I would have been just another 1 vote had I voted in the challenge.

Thank you for the opportunity to provide a critique on your entry,
Eric

sorry man, this was a great shot in my books. Creative and Emotive, reminds me of pink floyd for some reason. Don't be discouraged this is great work.

The best image of the challenge. I'm about ready to quit DPC and this pretty much confirms it.

wow. this is one of the most dismal failures of the dpc voter yet, and that's saying something.

Why waste a really good abstract photograph by entering it here, when it would certainly have received its deserved merit in a challenge it would meet?

Started to throw this one away, then I noticed the "back". Very creative. I usually don't go for abstract, but this works.

Sorry but I have never been a fan of abstract art and I don't have a clue on what I am looking at here, think I see a butt there somewhere but images like this just do not appeal to me personally, just thought I'd explain the low vote.

I had to search for a long time before I saw the nude aspect. You really had that hidden. I think there is too much going on in the photowith the fake smoke/sheet or whatever is goign on there.

If I hadn't just seen a shot which I am 99.9% sure belongs to cutout, this would be it. 7

This is an incredible image - extraordinarily well done. My favorite so far.

Back after voting to say it remained my favorite throughout! Back again to ask how the heck you did it - I'm really interested in reading your notes when the challenge is finished.
