About: Part of a 5 days pregnancy shooting my wife and I are doing.
One of the biggest mistakes I did is waiting close to the end of pregnancy, by this time, her movement is heavier and more tiring. I'd suggest doing a pregnancy shooting in the 7th Month.

Process: This shot was taken precisely for this challenge using manual focus. Open raw, exposure +.50, contrast, curves and apply. Duplicate layer, desat and mask flower, crop. save for web.Picture almost as out of of camera.

Storobist: One AB800 set at 1/16 behind the white background, this was the only light source triggered by AB Cybersync.

Expectations: Some will like it, Some will hate it. Some will claim it has a white background so it is intended for stock photography, and seriously, I couldn't care less. Expecting 5.5

I like the image and think the blur works well to enhance the subject. I am a little put off by your title, though - the addition of the parenthetical statement is pointless.

At first glance I didn't "get" this, but once I did I really really like it. I kinda wish there was some balance on the top left...either another face (a husbands?) or maybe if she were holding the flower up a little more. Regardless this is an awesome story caught on camera. 10

Love the lighting and the flower is a nice touch. Not sure what the white rectangle is in the lower right? Great job! 9

It's surprising to me how a simple change in technique can inject a bit of fresh air into a genre of photography that usually demands a very expected approach to it - I like what you did here. My only quibble is I wish you hadn't taken pains with your title to ward off misunderstanding - it makes the overall presentation a bit clunky (although my vote isn't affected by this consideration).
