 I took a greyscale ver of the original, put it on layer 2, the copied it again on layer 3. I applied the Find Edges filter to layer 3 & then used blend modes to make layer 2 & layer 1 show through.

I like this better than the untouched photo. Probably because in what you've done in knocking down the bright yellow-greens with the processing.
