| A closeup may not have been the best thing to demonstrate the concept of deep DOF. Even if this is deep DOF for the conditions, it is not going to be perceived as such. |

| Nice centred composition with some excellent definition and a very shallow DOF. |

| Deep DOF means most of the image is in focus, this is shallow DOF so doesn't fit the theme. |
