 Bugs! Weird bugs ;-) Some sort of wasp with an abdomen rather tenuously attached and held up in the air like a tail. Apparently I should be seeing more of them shortly!

PP - converted from RAW, rotated, cropped, white balance, increased contrast, some dodging on wasps, noise reduction, resized, sharpened.

That's technically a very good shot, as well as a very interesting subject. I don't think that I have ever observed wasps exactly like these in this area.

I am not an entymologist, but I am not sure love is part of their biology. :-)
