 I got the brown paper bag wet & then crumpled it. When flattened, it made a nicely textured BG for these peanuts. I'm shooting on a tabletop in the breakroom at work, by late afternoon sunlight.

Starting to see a trend here with some of your shots. :-) I like the shot you took the other day, using the same props, a little better. Again, I think the paper bag works well, but the peanuts may be a little busy - or it could be just that one half open piece (with the hot white showing) is throwing it off.
