I think 4x6 pics are okay with this P&S, but you see the limitations with noise, artifacts with PP, if the pics are larger. Or I just don't know how to work the camera to its optimal performance (which is more likely).

annig asked where this was. It was shot at Crown Point (at Vista House), about 30mi east of Portland on the Historic Columbia River Hwy/Crown Point Hwy (depending on which map you're looking at). The river is the Columbia River, the freeway is I-84. This shot is looking east.

This is a lovely scene. It looks sort of like a well done model railroad scene. I would guess that camera shake is more evident than noise in this shot. My feelings about the quality is that it looks fine. The natural bit of haze in the air may have you thinking that there is noise in the shot.

Noise isn't visible to me in this size. You ISO was plenty low, and the light was good. I've been finding my P&S shots do benefit from some modest noise reduction, but I think some graininess is to be expected with any small sensor camera, even in good light.
