I believe this is the very definition of foreshadowing. The toning complements the emotive punch very well.
"Queen" indeed, pfft. I hardly invented defocus (and by the way,  Gordon is an excellent practitioner of the technique, as is Bill Jacobson). As most detractors of the so-called "easy way out" will be happy to tell you, most camera newbies have this skill well within their grasp. Just enter one in a challenge and you'll see what I mean. :) |

Karen has really inspired me to try total Defocus, among other things. I enjoy experimenting, but Karen truly is The Queen of photographic experimentation. Plus it's just plain fun to try new things! |

| The longer I look at this the scary it gets to me. I end up 'focusing' on what looks like a throwable life preserver still hanging on the end of the pier. Yes, Premonition is a great title. |
