for the Serendipity side challenge

lensbaby, with a flower-shaped aperture, and jiggled the camera during exposure

to answer turnofthesue's question:

you can make any shape aperture out of a piece of cardboard or construction paper (preferably black), so long as the shape is smaller than the aperture of the lens (which is why wider apertures are good for this technique) - there's all sorts of things online to help you calculate the optimum size of the shape depending on your aperture. I find it easy to use with a lensbaby, because I pop in the cutout and then put an LB aperture ring over it, holding it place. Alternatively, you can cut a hole in a spare lens cap, and then tape the aperture over that hole and then place the cap over the lens. You can cut any shape you like, and there are also lots of paper punches in craft stores you can use to make the shapes.

Ha! I did exactly the same thing. Couldn't figure it out until I re-read the comments.
Nifty idea and very crafty! : )

Very inspired and very artistic. Of course, I wouldn't expect anything less from you.

I also really like the colors here. Is the flower-shaped aperture a lensbaby thing? I've never seen anything like that. Quite interesting.

Beautiful combination of colors. The jiggle gives the effect of a cool breeze.
