Well it wasn't raining but I busted a move w/my new FZ35 anyway & PP like mad & here I am. I usually do these in the rain & tonight I had the clouds, lightening, thunder, etc...no rain. The screen on the FZ35 is bright but not blinding at night, it doesn't light up my face, which is good, & I can operate it w/one hand without looking at it, which is good. I think I am happy. I can see that the customizing options are going to help me avoid the rather limited color palette of lights at night. Oh boy.

This is a traffic light intersection on my way home that includes a couple of restaurants. It wasn't raining, so the light trails are much more crisp than I like, but the colors are good. I shoot long exposures as I'm driving along at night to get long random light trails. I took the one exposure, mirrored it to make a symmetrical abstract. Then I mirrored that one to make a 4-way symmetrical abstract. They're like Rorschact ink blots in that the imagination is needed to make something out of it, like a superhero mask. I feel successful if each person who looks at it sees something different & unique to them. |

He-he. I just noticed Jutilda's comment - Jimi Hendrix does need to blasting while viewing this. :-D |

I have no idea at all what this really is, but it looks to me like a superhero's mask. Neat looking abstract. |
