when scottie and i were roommates we lived with a few girls and one of them was TERRIFIED of the groundhog. we'd often come home to cries of "oh my god the THING is in the yard again!!!!"

i'm sorry, i processed this before i knew about the side challenge so i didn't really take note of what i did to it

I find these little guys adorable .. and they are so fast to pop back underground that you did a great job of getting him to stay still for the shot. Nicely done.

Aren't groundhogs so funny to watch? I love the way they stand up and look at you, then bolt.

THE THING!!!! or his cousin anyways... This lens is so sharp, you're gonna love it. This shot is super sharp. Did you crop at all or is this full frame? Were you on your tripod?

Really good capture. It's not often we see them in our backyards LOL.

He certainly looks quite comfy surveying his yard. Nice of you to share your space, even if your friend was irrationally afraid of him ;-)

He is SO cute. Nice light on him.
I am pretty sure ground hogs have not been responsible for any deaths, maybe next time you could get a wee bit closer : )

You caught him in a nice pose! But definitely not terrifying.
