 This is the cockpit inside a Royal Flying Doctor Service plane, complete with sun shades.

In areas where they fly, it commonly gets to around 55-60 degrees celcius in the summer.

On this particular day, it was around 53 degrees celcius with very dry air.

Amazing people. Spent some time with helicopter nurses and doctors learning a little of what they do. Did not realize they must all be qualified helicopter pilots as well as Mds. Got to be even more dramatic in the outback. Interesting post! Thanks
