Gunung Bromo is the one left of the frame smoking and Gunung Semuru is the one to the right erupting.
I got to walk on the crater of Gunung Bromo.
Three weeks after I visited, Gunung Bromo erupted, destroying the side of the volcano I walked up.
I should have known it was ready to erupt as when I was walking down, there was a pocket of sulphur coming out of the side of the volcano and I couldn't breath for a few seconds.
The feeling was like that of being under water scuba diving and someone turning your air off without warning you.
