this reminds me of when I was a kid. I grew up in a country town in the 60's/70's and there would often be huge picnics in the park. Half the town would turn up and drink and eat and dance on the grass. Simple pleasures... : )

I have viewed this one often - I really like it. I've been trying to figure out why. I think it's mostly the expressions of the two whose faces we see most - the zippered-leg pants guy, and the swirling skirt lady in glasses. There's also the tenuous but still there fingertip hold the zippered-leg pants guy has on his partner. And I do like it in B&W, and I do like the receding line formed by the angle at which you captured the dancers. And all the folks in the background to explore. An enjoyable and comfortable feel to this one.
