 This little fella was at the Missanabie tip in northern Ontario. It's an open tip surrounded by a forest.

He and I hung out for a couple of hours. I thank God for this awesome once in a lifetime experience.

I got within 4 feet of him but he wouldn't come any closer unfortunately.

The last time I saw a bear 4 feet away from me I was about 12 years old and berry picking with my family. It was not a pretty experience! LOL Picture a bunch of people running and screaming like crazy. I think the bear was more afraid of us than we were of it. Glad you got to see a bear up close.

Um.....that's a BEAR! NOT a lapdog. Four feet was plenty close.

I think 4' woul dbe plenty close enough for me lol
Great shot but very sad to see such a wonderful animal in that environment
